E-learning for Leaseholders

The Leasehold Advisory Service is a government funded resource offering independent advice to residential leaseholders.  If you’re interested in understanding more about leasehold matters, there’s a fantastic website with interactive modules to help leaseholders learn more about managing their buildings as well as leasehold law.

E-modules

There are plenty of online courses available on the site that you complete in the comfort of your own home, when it works for you, including ‘An introduction to Residential Leases’ and ‘Becoming a Director’. The latest e-module just launched is aimed at helping leaseholders understand the three-stage consultation process landlords should follow if they need to carry out major works to a building.  The new module – Section 20 Consultation for Private Landlords – guides leaseholders through the S20 consultation process and provides general rules about the procedures.

If you complete any module, you will even get a certificate to prove you’ve gone through the training.
